Got written up for calling out a month ago was given a warning letter
I'm really needing to call out this morning.
My question is what will happen if I pull the trigger.
Thanks

Did your warning letter say something like;

"Failure to correct this problem, will result in further disciplinary action up to

and including discharge."

Something to think about. There is a reason.... they warn you.

policy here is a 9 month wait before you can go over 3 occurrences for 90 days. You can call in, just keep it under 3 for 90.

Progression here is document -> warning letter -> suspension -> pending term

Most pending terms I've ever seen racked up consecutively is 5+. Guy ended up quitting.

Is calling in the same as calling in sick?

I called in sick once (an HR before my shift as per the handbook) and still got a write-up. I now have 100+ sick hours and I'm afraid to use them.

Yet I see some call in or call in sick once a month and get away with it

Generally I think they play favorites. OP, They just hate you.

Are you generally on time and do decent work? Are you full of excuses about why you can't make it to work once or twice a month?
