No im shop steward for my building 27 yrs of service. This is how bad it's gotten 90% of my drivers on 9.5 list we are owed that much in penalty pay last 3 months

Yes, UPS paid out over 200k in our building last year in 9.5's. Two centers worth and they kept putting off paying till December.

We had settlement meeting yesterday met for 5 hrs got thru 8 grievances. Wrote 29 just for last week totaling $4,873.69

I can see UPS being more amenable to agree to less hours per day ... maybe double or triple pay automatically kicking in at 9.5. (except for Acts of Gawd)
I guess the big question is what do the drivers have to give up to get that?

All of our grievances just got approved. The amount was so high that ups couldn't afford to pay it so shut down. We are all going for breakfast tomorrow then to the unemployment office.
