Reminds me of the Dodge Tomahawk with the Viper V-10. Even dirt tracker champion and Superbike racer (now driver of Ack Attack speed record MC) could only barely manage to ride it.

I would be afraid of riding that thing at freeway speeds much less at 200mph
I heard rumors that the DEF systems were a bandaid to new technology that will soon make them obsolete. Any idea if that is true and how the newer systems will work?

I'm not aware of any new diesel exhaust technology in the works yet. DPF's are definitely a bandaid and not practical at all for UPS's purposes. Urea aftertreatment is more workable but has its own drawbacks. If the EPA stands by its ever tighter standards, diesels in general will be what is obsolete.
