I used to pack a bag of tools and grab a cart a spend the day at the yard. Now all the old stuff is gone and they don't let you in.

Now I wish I weren't such a cheap SOB. I brought my new truck in for its first oil change at the stealership where I bought it. I like doing it myself, but free LOF & tire rotations for 2 years sounded nice.
I should have looked before I left there, but it wasn't until I got home, that I noticed the tires definitely not rotated, & they didn't grease anything. So in the end, I spent 45 minutes doing all the stuff they didn't do. Wtf?!

I get that. I live 40 minutes from the place, so I just cut my losses, & did it myself.

Paint it brown and bring it on by. Next time the oil change comes up, bring that up and give them a little chance to save some face and see how it goes.

Now you're on the right track. I just don't like letting people slide on things promised in order to make a sale. The wife does it to me all the time.
