Friend from high school had a small fiat years ago. It's funny that they are making a comeback to the US market.
I'd drive one of those or a cooper S. Seems like a fun little car.

I've been driving around in my Mini since '05. Love it. Just getting ready to turn 10,000.......small town and small distances to my daily errands. The color is purple haze and they weren't offering it after '05 (I don't think). I have never seen another one of my color. So, I don't dare commit a crime.....too unique a car description.

I like the new mini coopers but the originals were designed to be uncomfortable on purpose. On the theory that an uncomfortable driver is safer and more alert.

I am only in it on short trips. We don't take it on long trips because of 2 things...comfort and cup holders. I'm 5'10", so I need leg room over long drives. The comfort factor would be more of a concern if it was my only car.....we have 3.

I'm jealous of a couple of your rides, the mini being one of them.

They (Mini) are ALL Over this area.

I would have to assume they are a great auto for around town trips, as
many are running around our congested area.

Speaking of TOS and his pro buy GM to support Government Motors, I have
not seen his / her ? post lately since the web upgrade? Huh?

Perhaps it is me, that does not read all threads.

I was just watching Velocity channel on TV and one of the reality shows there (FantomWorks) just said those other shows that claim to rebuild cars in a week are full of BS. He told the customer he wasn't sure he could do it in 2 months. A slight bit of actual reality in a "reality" show.

All those shows are baloney and if you know what you're looking at you can see the half-ass work.

Even the great Chip Foose on overhauling would have to do some fine tuning after the show handed the car back to the owners.

Chip doesn't do lowriders. He is the benchmark for hot rod taste.

Chip did lower every single car I have ever seen him work on. That would be OK for some cars but ruins the looks of others.

Lowering and lowrider are two different things.

He has done trucks and such that aren't taken to such extreme height levels.
