Charleston, SC, question

I'm seeking a transfer to Charleston, SC. Can anybody familiar with the area help me out with basics? Is Charleston home to multiple centers or a hub, or what, exactly? Does anybody have contact info on the ground there of somebody I could speak to about a transfer?

I don't know anyone named Celine, nor do I have an interest in furthering my education beyond reading books I check out from the library. I didn't intend to offend anyone, I just fail to see how it benefits anyone to include a mandatory education requirement for an employee in good standing to relocate.
