my FIL used to collect nutcrackers. We sometimes build a town out of the little houses with the lights inside of them on top of our pool table. with snow, people, roads, bridges, etc, if my wife feels like doing it. She doesn't do it every year anymore, tho.

Glad you took me literally I read that after I posted and thought uh-oh I should have thought this through. My daughter when she was way younger counted all the ornaments we have on the tree. She said in amazement "Mom do you know that we hung over 800 of them on our tree." She was 10 at the time.
