Confused about my first day?

Yeah about that. What do I do when I get to the guard shack? Last time the hr guy took us through it. I dont have anything to show them im an employee. Do I sign in there?

Say you're new and the guard shack will get a supervisor to escort you in...they'll give you a sticker to tape to your hooters and it will get you in til you get an id

Is the scanning job a lot easier? I told the interviewer thats what I preferred. How does that work? I mean what determines what job you do? Can I just do scanning and not have to do the loading? Or does it change on a day to day basis.

What day do you need to report for first day?

If you are working where I think you are, you will get your ID within the first few days once they assign a employee number.

Your preference doesn't necessarily factor in where you are assigned. They honestly just need a warm body to go where needed for that day/night/minute.

So I'm applying as a package handler, I went on the tour and 1st interview. Then the hr guy told me I had to go to a 2nd interview tomorrow. I showed up and he wasn't there. Then he called me and said your first day will be (day), come in wearing boots, have a nice weekend. And thats all he told me. So I'm kind of confused. Do I have to buy my own boots? I dont have a uniform and I dont know what to do. If anyone could help me that would be great.

No I hold pinecones between my checks I kinda got this weird thing. It feels totally different
