Depends on how you look at it. That Obamacare is more popular than the tax cuts doesn't mean it's wildly popular. It also means people haven't been educated to how the tax cuts have benefited them overall with a better economy. People want a direct benefit that means real numbers to them. Having your kid on your insurance until 26, not being denied insurance for preexisting conditions, that means something to people. And if course we'll most likely be socialist eventually because having more guaranteed to you by government sounds a lot better than struggling to get by in the current system. Let's hope the ones promising all of this have got it all figured out and succeed where others failed. Otherwise one day people may realize it's better to struggle working hard than to have nothing at all.
