Agreed but no chance of him being held accountable for the nursing homes. He might get a slap on the wrist for the sexual harassment but nothing substantial.
Speaking as a life long Democrat let me just say that he's no better than anybody else including public officials of every party.
At the same time his resignation has sent a shot over the bows of both parties and here's the message that went with it.
Today's women have education, money and power. And as we saw with Cuomo they can change the political landscape anytime they choose to do so. Both parties need to learn to respect them for that .

Women put him where he is, and women who knew what was going on worked for him. It's all just political calculus for each of them.
He became a liability, so he was axed.

Chris just went on another "scheduled" vacation. Just 3 weeks since his last vacation. So far CNN is trying to pretend things never happened.
Would be very easy for CNN to point to ratings and let him go, assuming his contract is up.

I think that will happen. But very quietly.
Then bring him back after things quiet down.
I'm thinking he's only there because of his family's influence. Which is up in flames now. I'd be surprised to see him on CNN again if they fire him.

His brother only resigned so he could run again in 2022, if he was impeached he couldn’t run again

The crime he is being punished for is being a threat to Kamala. If it weren't for that, he would be receiving the Nobel prize for his efforts in combating covid.
