DIAD question

I'm currently trying to qualify. I've run into this scenario a few times. I have multiple packages for a resi. One requires a signature. I get the sig and then it won't let me stop complete it. A message pops up (I should have taken a pic of it) that says something like "Signature is on file, must void the signature or remove status from package" How do I do this? I'm wasting time fumbling around. I've asked a few people but haven't really gotten a clear answer.

That happened to me when I was training...so out of habit I still will DR the first package...scan the next one and hit duplicate and try to get a signature...then either get the sig or ni1

I've made that mistake..have a house where there's no DR,( they would get about 10packages) usually electronic Sig on most of them..but if they're home I'd have to cancel them to have them sign for everything.

No you don't. Hand them the packages and sheet as you would if they were not home.

I'm sayin when they are home,I have to get a Sig on some of them that they forgot to electronically sign for..so I just do it that way so it's one stop.but in one stop I can't DR some and have them sign for others

I just do what the pros do and pre-record every stop and stop complete them at the center before I punch out. That way if the diad does some funny business and says I can't DR something, I can have my sup there to show me how to override it.

Its not a good idea to prerecord at all. That can cause late air and hides tracking info from the customer. We have a driver that once hit Pre-record on a 200-piece Next Day Air stop by accident and didn't notice until he tried to clock out that night.

It sounds like BurntSienna is trying to DR one package and has a sig. required on a second one. You have to delete the DR to complete an active stop in the DIAD while getting a signature.

The consignee has a signature release on file.

You guys are kinda both right the issue is the actual package and not the stop

You can't have Sig and try to DR the same package , but you can get a Sig on one pkg and then DR the second one
