Do unloaders have to break jams or can we make Supervisors do it?

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
I work in a New England Hub and constantly have to break jams on the belts in unload while our supervisors sit around doing nothing. My question is do I actually have to break the jams myself or can I make supervisors do it?
if it is a safety issue then no you don't have to break jams. they do have to provide you equipment to break them if you got to reach

My Supervisor told me not to come back to the hub until I completed my route.
Do I really have to deliver everything on the truck?
