I was scratching with 160-190 stops done by 6:30 back in building by 7:00 I’m not going back to preload so I guess it’s bye bye ups

how many routes are at your terminal???

They're idiots if they're going to lay a competent brownie driver off...

Amazon or FedEx are hiring for peak season in my area now.

I've seen a few x brownie drivers come over for peak every season.

I just got hired as a feeder driver specialist know much about it please reply it’s nonunion how’s the benefits what are the hours

It’s a new position. The company is still trying to figure out how they want to use it.

Basically you’re going to help conduct feeder schools, and train drivers on 80 hour packets.

I have 34 days in only 6 more days to make book. They told me to come back oct.15th drive during peak and by Jan-feb I should make book. I have option to go back to preload until then.
i'd stick it out. where else can you make over 80k a year plus benefits? They do hang that carrot out to a lot of people but sometimes it comes true. meanwhile take advantage of all the bennies you can including educational.

goodluck.

A guy in my building gave his 2 weeks notice when they told him he was going back to preload. He ended up going back to driving, made seniority and is still driving.

Not sure I believe this.
The company couldn't care less if you leave....especially if you're a full progression, full vacation, disgruntled employee.

They had sent him to training and would have had to send another. I will grant that it was 19 years ago, but it happened. He had been waiting 10 years for a bid. Went to training, drove for the summer, center manager told him he would be laid off till peak. He said he would quit 1st. The family business has just expanded and his brother was POd that he was not going to work there anymore. When he gave his 2 weeks, he was dead serious and had a back up plan to make it work. The center manager did not want to pay to train another and it really grated him to have to either pay to train someone or grant the guy seniority.

If you can run scratch? Why the friend would they not bring you on? They bring on total geniuses who can't figure out how to use an Amazon locker here. I know these sheer geniuses I've tried to help out. I just had one call me at 8:30 begging me to help her enter the locker code.

She can't figure out how to enter the locker code.

They passed her like a year ago.

You're telling me you can scratch on an easy training route but they aren't bringing you on?

Well you know? Ups mngmt is renowned the world over for their smarts and thinking ahead.
