My daughter was living in North Carolina for a while and her cousin, my former nephew, lived 5 minutes away. He had lost his job and was collecting unemployment. I went down to visit her and we went over to see him. Now, you would think that he would have been out looking for a job, right? Nope--he was building a deck. A big deck with new french doors to the tune of about $4K. He should have just had his unemployment forwarded to Lowes each week. I couldn't believe it. The sad part was wifey was working two jobs and taking care of their two kids while he was playing Tim Taylor. Generation Me.
