If you started your shift at 5pm the night prior, you can run early ams but will have to be off before 9am or you'll violate. Since you'd get off around 9pm and wouldn't be off for the sufficient 10 hours to reset your day, you'd have to be off 14 hours after you initially clocked in (thus the 9am drop dead time). If you'd like to be able to work more in the air classification, I'd consider a transfer to a preload/early sort period that would make you more available during those periods. As exception air, you'd only be required to work as what's convenient to you and your outside schedule but could pick up extra hours whenever available, sometimes including early ams or saturday air work.
