great question. the DOJ is allegedly engaged in an investigation that will follow the facts wherever they may lead while skillfully running a CIA style misinformation campaign with carefully selected leaks. This photo for instance was not how trump stored his documents but a carefully staged picture by the FBI for dramatic affect. The court did not need this picture but it was clearly created for public consumption. This along with selectively worded leaks of disinformation would make the CIA envious .
This is how backwards your thinking is. Why is it the FBI posted pictures of stuff collected from the trump raid. Yet the same organization hid the stuff they collected from Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. Food for thought.
