I never claimed Donald Trump will be convicted. I'm simply pointing out that it's not impossible for democracies to hold their former heads of state accountable. TBD = to be determined.

He may come out of this thing looking better than he does today. I make no grand predictions.

But AG Garland wouldn't push the button on any raid like this without a serious reason for doing so. So we wait and see. I trust the rule of law more than I distrust it.

One prediction I will make is that if Trump is tried and convicted the harshest of any of his punishments would be house arrest. He will never go to prison.

Trump now has the search warrant and along with an inventory of what was taken in his possession. If this raid was so unjustified, why not release the list showing that the FBI was wrong?
