I think they could have railroaded him if they wanted to. Just look at what happens to everyone who supports him. And if they truly could not make their fake Russian collusion story stick for whatever reason, they are clearly not above assassinating people they think are a threat.

I agree they are not above killing him, that obviously is the last alternative.

If he is assassinated the nation is on fire, no doubt, they know that and don't want that.

No doubt they are sending the message, "Work for Trump, associate with Trump at your peril."

They still have at minimum 70 million citizens to deal with.

They understand we are law abiding and if he is taken out "lawfully" most will stand down.

If he assumes room temperature that will not stand, there will be no United States.

We officially break the law when we go over the speed limits, very rarely do we get caught.

This unjustified raid would be similar to you leaving your drive way and having a police car tailgating you everywhere for the opportunity of giving you a ticket even if you were only going over the speed limit by one mile.

Another issue is that these so called Top Secret documents were released to Trump by someone when he left the White House some time ago. They had to be unclassified prior to their release. So it took them almost two years to discover them missing and mysteriously decided to get them back four months before the midterms.
