Fedex lies about non delivery too

HR-- does your spur road have a sign on the intersection of your horse shoe?? Maybe the road looks like an unmarked driveway. Just a thought. I've seen it as a problem before

You need to call Weathertech to complain. Complaining to FE will get you nowhere, if enough complain to Weathertech, they will come back to UPS. When I ordered my wife's car mats, I got them off the truck before the regular guy went on route.

I ordered a set of car mats from weathertech for my stepdaughters and mine new cars last week. I didn't know who they use to ship by but was disappointed when I got tracking info from FedEx ground. I live in the boonies and they always screw up my delivery. We have been through several drivers in this area since the guy that owns the route can't seem to keep anyone on it. About the time I tell the new guy where I live he quits or gets canned. Last time they left a pair of work shoes I ordered at a vacant house several houses away. Package before that was left at a local business for them to give to me when I delivered there.

So anyway, the shipment is coming in two separate boxes. Stepdaughters car is a Honda CRV and they send the trunk mat first. I was so shocked when the newest driver shows up outside my house with the package. (I am off work right now) Scares me that I see someone riding with her. Vacation time coming I guess but at least I think the cover driver will know where I am too. Our floor mats are supposed to be delivered the next day.

I look the next morning and see that the package is out for delivery. Six o'clock comes and no package so I check tracking again and it shows "local weather delay". LOCAL WEATHER DELAY???? Are you kidding me? What weather delay! I had already received a 2 day air package from FEDEX express earlier in the day. A cloudy day didn't seem to delay him from bringing me a package. (havn't had many probs with the express guy)

So I am assuming the regular driver took he day off and the new guy couldn't get done. So they showed the package as weather delay instead of missed as it should have been. You ever try to call FEDEX and find out about a package? After talking to a phone center in India with two people I finally gave up. You have to jump through hoops to even find an email address on their website that is not tied into specific questions about shipping or claims. Nothing to send in an email and get a reply like UPS does with its customer concerns that come in on email everyday. I gave the call center my info and a phone number but still have yet to get a call. Received an email telling me that they were not able to complete my delivery because of a weather delay.

What a croc!
Maybe you need to advertise your home number better.

Did you call and/or e-mail Weathertech and complain to them? Did you tell them that FedEx provides poor service and they should be using UPS? Perhaps they will refund your shipping charges if you put up enough of a stink. If enough of their customers complain about poor FedEx service, they may consider UPS.

Why do you live in such a hard to reach location in the first place? You obviously enjoy making life hard for delivery drivers.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
My road is a horseshoe with a spur on it. I live at the end of the spur. While the numbers are not consistent, I have a huge mailbox in front of house with address on it. Not hard to find if you look. Just hard finding someone that will look. Pure laziness. I have had them put no such number on my packages on numerous occasions.
I think i would find a better way to show my address.

Like a sign and arrow at the end of the spur.

Well he knows where he lives...Love the guys in the boonies that think finding the house is sooo easy...Turnover at fed-excuse ground-hd is high..cut the guy or gal some slack and make your house the easiest one to find....as a 30 yr guy you know how....

Evidently most of you guys have never delivered in rural areas before.
12 years worth.. When the news would report an accident and give the location I knew where it was.. 5 county's worth...Not trying to be a smart arse.,but man some areas were so bad..for example crossing a county line numbers change ,the road name could change..if you are filling in forget it..throw in the fact that that fedex driver is getting paid crap, the truck is a deathtrap I can see how this happened.

I have an address I have sheeted NSN probably 10 times. I take have asked the clerk about it and he just says its a good address.

Say the address is 7 Main Street. The addresses go 5 main st then 9 Main Street.

I have one of those. Turns out it was across the street. I never looked across the street because the odd numbers are all on the west side. All except that one.

In 30 years of delivering for UPS if finding my house was the hardest thing I had to do, I would be floating on cloud nine. You first have to come down the road to look for my house. They don't make the effort to even come down the road. No way you can miss my huge mailbox with my address on it if you do. That's a pet peeve of mine is people complaining about non delivery when their house or mailbox is not marked. My house is on my delivery area. People on my area have put up new mailboxes and numbers just because FEDEX drivers can't find their butts with both hands. I don't know where the find these people. An old saying comes to mind "You get what you pay for"
Why not have a small sign at the end of the spur with what house numbers are down there?

Then again, why not make certain that your phone number is listed on the label or manifest so drivers can call you if they have trouble finding your house?

Go to the places with the inconsistent numbers and see if you can put up a sign pointing to where your number is.

If I drive down a street and lets say I'm looking for "670" and I find 671 (which in theory would be right across the street) and then I see 684 across the street from 671 and on one side of 684, I see 690 and then beyond that 694 and on the other of 684 I see 668 and 660, I'm going to assume the house number on the package is wrong. Delivery drivers don't have time to drive up and down your street looking for your house. Make your house easier to find or talk to your county officials and see if you can get the spur road designated as a different road name, then there is no question that its down that spur somewhere.

Why not ask a neighbor or the mail carrier?

and then the neighbor gives you the wrong house and you DR it and the package is stolen. Or the mail carrier doesn't know because they deliver to a large set of mailboxes at the bottom of the canyon or (insert other rural type area) and don't actually go to the houses.

You can't just have a house with a number on it and expect packages to come it to.
