first pay check?

I currently started working for UPS and i was wondering how long must i have to wait to get my first check. i know they pay every week but i've been there for a week and didnt get paid.

So do we....poster never specified that so i was just assuming

they hold back one week so you will get you first pay check on friday. if you get your check on thursday your not supposed to cash it on thursday. if you plan to stay at ups for a while think about getting direct deposit you will always get paid if for some reason the checks dont show up
