Communism is a state planned and operated economy. if Biden is a communist then why did the oil companies have not just a recovery year but the best year in at least a decade?

It's interesting that you never mention the condition the oil industry was in in 2020 where oil was trading at negative 37 bucks barrel . That's right Bud, if you had a barrel of oil you had to literally give that barrel of oil along with 37 bucks just to get that refiner to take that barrel of oil off your hands. All they're doing is recouping the billions of dollars they lost in 2020 from a pandemic your Dear Leader said would be gone in a week.
That was futures prices Bud.

And futures prices dictates forward prices and guidance. Now you don't need to worry your little head off about Big Oil. They're doing just fine. In fact, the best they done in years. Trouble is they're doing it at the market's expense. At the same time you want to blame the president who happens to be the head of a nation that operates under a capitalist supply and demand market, one you profess to embrace. That's provided of course you're ALWAYS on the favorable side of the supply/demand equation. Well, I'm sorry to have to tell you this but that there's no guarantee that you'll always be on the favorable side.
The key however is to be vigilant , trying as best you can to spot changing market dynamics and do the best you can to adapt and stay ahead of them. In fact the worst kept secret in the entire world was the widely broadcasted move on the part of Big Oil to shift the market back in it's favor. Who's fault is it that only the smart money paid attention to it?

And what just happens to be the biggest market driver when it comes to powered transportation? The near complete lack of competitive alternative fuel sources. The publics unwillingness to detach itself from Big Oil and embrace the effort to create alternatives that would not only reduce our carbon footprint but to finally create some competition for Big Oil while looking for a scapegoat to blame for Big Oil having reclaimed it's market.

If trump was in office it would be his fault!

And what you're not saying is the Left wants us completely decoupled from fossil fuels without having viable alternatives to fossil fuels that will meet our energy needs. Remember when Republicans were talking about replacing Obamacare with their own plan but once they got the power it turned out they didn't have a plan? The Dems are no different with energy. They want to shut down coal fired electric plants but don't want nuclear and don't want natural gas. Yet somehow they've convinced themselves that wind and solar will meet our needs for all those electric cars and our homes too. Meanwhile they're willing to hurt us financially in an effort to get us to turn away from ICE vehicles while helping our enemies financially by buying their oil. All the while treating our domestic oil companies like they're the enemy. Big Oil this, Big Oil that. It's an oil based economy in case you haven't noticed and attacking our domestic suppliers while supporting foreign sources is literally cutting our own throats. And thinking we're saving the planet while the rest of the world continues to pollute is the height of stupidity and arrogance. Is it then really about saving the planet or is the Left really that stupid? Or is it really a smokescreen for implementing your fantasy system that will finally make everything just and righteous? You know, the religion of the Left professed by a people who hate all religions except theirs. And are willing to destroy this country to get what they want.

The entire climate change death cult is just about wealth redistribution. They know they can't get rid of fossil fuels, they just want to make money from carbon offset scams and tax the hell out of it.

I agree to a point. The fanatics are true believers while the powers that be are trying to figure out how to best monetize it to their advantage.

You think so? There have been two Nat gas power plants constructed or under construction along with 3 solar powered plants all within 50 miles of where I live. In addition application has been made for a pair of quite large wind powered plants inside that area. The difference today is that if you want to build a power plant regardless of the type of fuel you only get to build it if (1) the grid says it needs the power, (2) you build it where the grid wants it built and (3) you can prove that the power generated will be at a cost that will be competitive in a rate deregulated market. In fact construction of the second gas plant was delayed for years. The reason? It was a twin turbine power plant. Each turbine was to serve a separate grid. The one grid was of the opinion that by the time the plant was built it would need the power. The other grid wouldn't take the power until the generation company found a way to cut 70 million bucks worth of costs out of it's generation cost structure in order to get to a rate competitive standing. This set the construction start date back about a decade.

In addition US electricity consumption is expected to grow less than 1% annually through the year 2050. Faux News might have you terrified about a lot of things and are chances are it includes fears of an electricity shortage. While the grid is in serious need of a expansive and costly upgrading and modernization and while late is has begun to some extent. At the same time fears of a profound shortage of generation capacity are designed to do that....make people afraid.

You can't push for everyone to drive electric only cars and say electricity consumption will only grow at less than 1% annually. Just letting in millions of illegals will increase our electric consumption more than that.

There you go again falling back onto a convenient point of defense, even if it is totally unrelated.....bashing illegals.
If people don't want to drive EV's they can try to keep the IC's going put there's only going to be a limited number of certain types of after market car parts manufactured. An example of it was the Plan B for GM if the rescue package failed in Congress and it was only by a 2 vote majority that it passed That will leave only the junkyards and what they will have to offer is anybody's guess.

Excessive immigration is exactly related to providing a strain on resources. Including electricity.

By it'self, EV's are NOT a disruptive technology. They get better every year, and should be attractive to consumers based solely on their own merits. Instead, they are being crammed down our throats. And THAT is the problem. The sole purpose of all this is to get poor people off the road, and to exert more control over the modern Left's most demonized and hated demographic of them all:

Working class citizens.

They want to reduce your's and my "carbon footprint."

Not theirs!

This desired outcome comes at the expense of prosperity, stability, and independence of average citizens.

Whether it's the easy way or the hard way EV's are the future and the car manufacturers are all looking to the future if they don't want to end up like Studebaker or in bankruptcy court as GM was just a few years ago.

Or we can elect Republicans and avoid all of this insanity.
The GM board was comprised of Republicans back in 2002 when they couldn't design cars people wanted and needed. And in the end found itself in bankruptcy needing a federal bailout. But you don't need to worry. Relief paid for your surgery . They'll also provide you with a car to get back and forth to work.

Sorry, didn't vote for those Republicans. But will vote for the Red Wave coming in November.
