Freight going to a Courier Service?

Are there any other terminals out there that are sending freight to a courier service for delivery??

If so, is it only residential not deliverable by a truck?

We are having an issue where the management is sending rural residential and commercial stops to a courier service in an attempt to raise the terminals stops per hour average. it happens daily. This seems like an Article 44 violation. We have guys not working full weeks and plenty of equipment to run the stops.

Any thoughts? Does this happen anywhere else?

About 8 years ago or so my barn did that. It didnt turn out to good. All the freight didn’t get delivered on time. We would deliver the freight to them on the delivery date and they’d deliver it the next day. We lost a lot of customers.
