Future Speculation

Man I'm sorry, but your posts define hissy fits. My money goes twice as far and then some overseas. Don't worry about me.
That's the whole point. If it's as great as you say it is and your health is as bad as you say it is then just stay over there and become a burden to the health system of that host country. With the US being as corrupt and the quality of life being as bad as you claim then clearly it would be in your best interest to renounce your American citizenship. Giving that you have nothing to offer America and it's citizens would respect you for standing on your convictions by renouncing your American citizenship........but you ain't got balls to do something that courageous.

Putin was always a threat. Especially to an international businessman tied to dirty money from Russia.
And the message on open microphone was "Tell Vladimir to be patient. This is my last election. Let me win it first. Then I can be more flexible."(paraphrased) That was 2012. Sounded much like collusion to me. Obama wasn't worried about what Putin wanted to do, only how it would affect his chances of winning. Exact same reason they trotted out Susan Rice with the Benghazi video story. But allowing Putin to invade another country as long as he was "patient" goes way beyond Benghazi. Was Obama one of the worst Presidents? Had to be among the most devious.

Putting words in my mouth again. You're the one raging against the machine all the time. I simply can't afford the States right now. And the American passport is the best one in the world. Don't leave home without it.

I've been a citizen my entire life, a taxpayer since 16. I have done my part in the system and am now choosing this time in my life to pursue other goals. Isn't that at the bedrock of our democracy sir? "The Pursuit of Happiness?" Do you believe in individual liberty sir? Or do you feel we are wards of the State and owe everything, even our lives, to it? If you do then you and I have fundamental differences in our beliefs as to what constitutes a free and open society. I did not create this mess our country finds itself in. I am just one individual trying to navigate my way through it with limited means. I have worked hard all my life with little to show for it. And have had to sit at home watching a large portion of the world go off on holidays to enjoy themselves with the toys they acquired, coming back to nice homes with all the comforts, assured in the knowledge that their futures were reasonably bright and secure. I finally have the chance to do something unique with my life, to enjoy as much of it as I can while I can, and your little boobird of unhappiness won't begin to slow me down. I take no joy in your obsessive misery, only wish you peace and joy in your own life, and if you can't find it, eternal peace when that day arrives. God bless you, may he bless us all.

How can you possible have the TIME to do something "unique"? Your entire day is spent condemning and demonizing the political left while at the same time having your hand out to collect every dime of benefits you can get your hands on courtesy of two of possibly the greatest pieces of landmark legislation passed during the last century that the left managed to get to the president despite bitter and hostile opposition from your beloved GOP. And without it you would still be out there today dumping boxes for Fat Freddy. Why don't you simply do what responsible retired so called "conservatives" are doing today and that's being damn glad that somebody was thinking far enough ahead to get Social Security and Medicare passed and into law and are now fighting literally to their deaths their own party in an effort to stop them from taking it from them.

Reagan is the gold standard to me. I want my president to act presidential. Those guys fall in line because they have their own ambitions. Truly want him to succeed but I also want a unifier. Polarization is killing us.
Fair enough. I am more of a sympathizer to the style and approach of Carter's Presidency. Simpler times. And his no frills approach. Also, taking every opportunity when given to rip Bill Clinton and W. Bush.

I'm not on Social Security yet and will probably have limited use of Medicare if still living overseas. And what do they have to do with anything? We've had this discussion before. You seem to believe anyone not supporting the Democrats shouldn't benefit from any law they've past. I've continuously said SS is the best thing they ever came up with. It's a ridiculous argument. It's the law of the land, intended for everyone. And you know what, as long as there are decent places with affordable prices there will be more and more like me. This trend is already well established. Guys like you who think we should just scrape by and like it, never leave the country, remind me very much of the fellows who built a wall around East Berlin. You want to run others. Dasvidaniya, comrade.

Were you in the States during Carter's administration? Runaway inflation, long gas lines, 55 mph speed limit, Iranian Hostage crisis. Heck even Michael Moore calls him "Debbie Downer." Or maybe you're pulling my leg!

Today's Left isn't the same crowd that came up with Social Security. And they do a pretty good job of condemning and demonizing the Right. Just pointing out the obvious.

Didn't Nixon push for single payer? Today's right isn't the same crowd either.

And who introduced legislation that called for the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency?.....Nixon. What moved him to do that? When UNOCAL was drilling in the Santa Barbara channel practically Nixon's back yard cracked the ocean floor had nothing in the way of a response team in place. As a result some of the most pristine beaches in California got a crude oil bath. And who signed into law the California Air Quality Standards Act?...Reagan.

Of course you would have positive remarks regarding Social Security ,you're in line to benefit from it. It seems like just about every program or proposal coming from the left that doesn't personally benefit you is going to incur your wrath and contempt. I do hope however that you will remember to take some of the savings you stand realize from living abroad and buy some trip insurance. That way when they find you some morning in a diabetic coma and the government of that nation decides to send you back to the states for treatment you'll have money to pay for what would likely be a very costly medivac plane ride.

Everyone who worked enough quarters stands to benefit from it. They have hospitals and well trained doctors all over the world dude. And in most places you can pay as you go for most medical needs, it's that affordable.

Ah, but Obama was colluding with Putin in 2012. It was under his watch that Putin grew into such a threat. Own it.

This is another just ignorant comment, with ignorant meaning you are unaware, not stupid. Obama was PRESIDENT when he spoke with Putin, NOT a private citizen like Trump was when he tried to undermine US policy. Where do you come up with these one-liners with no thought behind them?????????????????????

He didn't speak with Putin, he had a message relayed to him. Putin was the power behind the throne at the time. Check my post about what Obama said. He was trying to tamp down any problems that could affect his reelection.

And for the millionth time, Trump has been reamed for months over a supposed Russian collusion scheme concerning an election, with little to show for it. Obama on the other hand DID collude with Putin concerning an election, and NOTHING happened to him, beyond the usual FOX News criticism. His role as President doesn't give him the right to turn a blind eye to one country invading another, especially if he's more concerned how it would affect him.

It will be fine

If they aren't invading our country the president can definitely ignore it. The Russians attacked our election and Trump is doing nothing, that's a problem.
