The United States Army is the most powerful army in the world. Let that be a warning to all those on the right who want to go to war against this country.
If the day comes we ever have Civil War most of the military will side with conservatives. Most of them are. Maybe it's time liberals get that through their heads and conduct themselves accordingly.

The commandant of the Marine Corps suffered a heart attack according to the NYT… He’s actually been doing two jobs for months because his deputy hasn’t been confirmed and that is because Tuberville is blocking the senate…”

Workin’ too hard can give you a heart attack-ack-ack-ack-ack-ack
All those jobs have people who are doing the work but haven't had their promotions approved yet. It's an absolute lie that because of the hold up some officers are doing the work of many.

Another thing is that the Senate can still vote on each promotion individually. Schumer is refusing to do that. But they ended up doing it a couple days ago for several promotions. Schumer is playing politics with Tuberville.

You are correct in that Schumer is also playing politics and cranking up the victim card. BUT to do them all 1 by 1 would be hundreds of hours of tedious procedure that stops everything else.

Then again, it's not like a whole lot is coming out of the House right now.

The House is moving along nicely now. The promotion issue has been around for quite some time. Expect it to be resolved when Trump takes power.

Tubs is free to introduce a bill that satisfies his worldview. He should leave the hard working men and women of the military alone instead of dragging them through this crap. They had zero to do with it all while promising to risk their lives for this country.

Tubs sucks. He’s the one playing politics.
