what a bull and misleading chart. the header says gun deaths, then they talk about gun violence deaths as if they are the same thing. The vast majority of gun deaths are suicide which most sane people would not group into gun violence deaths. if you have easier access to a gun, you are more likely ot use a gun for suicide. If you don't have easy access to a gun, you use other methods. How about you do a side by side chart of gun homicides per capita by state next to defensive uses of a gun per capita by state - that would be more interesting.

Sorry for the typo. The ATF is in the final steps of rule making to declare pistols with forearm braces as short barreled rifles, which require special approval and taxes to possess. People in most blue states are not able to get that approval and can become outlaws over night if they do not get rid of those pistols.
