Have you ever had a package burst while en route?

A jug of deer repellent. It smelled like someone's intestines exploded in the back of the truck. The next morning there's a giant fan aimed at my truck and the preloader had his shirt wrapped around his head like a hood and mask! It was terrible.

Caterpillar yellow paint. Case fell off the shelf. It spattered and seeped all over everything on the floor. It would not wash off and I spent the whole day with yellow hands and shoes. The mechanic gave me engine cleaner to get it off my skin that night.

Maggots. They were gross but at least they didn't stink and were easy to clean up.

I totally forgot about MonaVie. I do not miss that overhyped pyramid scheme crap. It stained everything when busted open.

Oh, MonaVie. That stuff. When I used to work as a responder we had to clean up a trailer from (Utah?) that was full of the stuff and the trailer arrived on Friday over a bitterly cold weekend (-10 friend). It cracked just about every bottle in the trailer, but didn't start leaking until it warmed up in the hub. We had I think 7 carts full of damaged packages.

My best stories about leaking packages/opens comes from my days as a responder. Box full (16x16) of gay porn DVD's. Crate of bees. A corrosive poison leaker that shut down half the hub because of the strength of the smell. Fox urine (that smell!). Cracked 5 gallon bucket of manure.

Worst PC leaker was actually a box of toner (new) that spilled out magenta EVERYWHERE! That was awful.

Another driver called me asking about a bad leaker he had (because he knew of my rewrap days) and if it was severe or not. I asked him and when he described how strong it was and the discoloration of the boxes under it, I told him to call it in and wait somewhere away from the truck for someone to clean it up. He was down for 3 hours and the hazmat team pulled 30 boxes. Lucky it was summer so he could drive with the front doors open for fresh air because it leaked toward the front and smelled the rest of the day.

had a box of Formaldehyde fall off the top shelf and break open while driving to my first stop,by the time i got there i had a splitting headache and was seeing double..pulled into the yard at a factory and called the supervisor..his words just put it in a bag and continue on...nope i said i need a 1st responder..he says we cant send someone 40 miles away for that..i said there's a fire dept down the street i can call..he said hold on...45 min later a supervisor pulls up cleans the truck takes the box and says leave the doors open for a bit then go on...spoke to him later he said he had to pull over twice because of the smell..
