The favorite method was to jam as much crap that is humanly possible into a toilet paper box

Had one genius put one of the old TVs that weighed a ton in a toilet paper box no packing around it

One of are resident experts can prolly tell when those speakers on box were made. You can just tell that box has been dry rotting in someones damp basement for years.

Just wanted to show this to others so y'all know. This is what $130 worth of ground shipping gets you when shipping a 75lb box from SF to Dallas. The box was double thickness and designed to transport Kenwood speakers, so the box didn't fall apart on it's own. Definitely never using UPS again for that. View attachment 149159
