You will reap the benefits of his work ethic and interest in customer service. He gets essentially nothing.

My work ethic and interest in customer service gets me job security, it has gotten me pay increases/increased benefits, just like any other job I've worked in my life ..

Like I said, I can't change the job or the goals, I'm looking for how I can better communicate. I'd love to change the game, but there isn't a "Managing Director" title next to my name. If you want management to treat you differently, here is someone in management asking what he can do to improve. Sounds like better than what most of you have been offered. If you give me solid input I can improve and pass it to all the other management I train.

The fact that you care enough to ask, already puts you heads above the rest. BZ to you. Simplest answer I can give you is, treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. The Golden Rule covers everything..
