Play "devil's advocate", what would be the Company's reason(s) for moving this employee, despite their objections, if a grievance and labor charges were filed???

Now, we're getting somewhere.


Having seniority over that many other sorters, doesn't necessitate a move....

unless he has some sort of "specific" knowledge to that other area.


Depending on local seniority practices, it could be a violation.... or not.

There's nothing wrong, with filing a grievance for clarification.


Notwithstanding @Bubblehead's suggestion on Article 21.
