How does it work when they lay off drivers?

If you read artcile 40 (air operations) it states that air drivers are to be used only to assist in the operations by delivering what the regular ftime driver cannot. This language means that air drivers would be the first to get laid off if it comes to it.

Thanks. I tend to overlook that section. I guess its because I'm going straight for the full-time articles when I look things up. This really should be addressed in the "Reduction of Force" section too. More specific I mean.

For us you have to take a 5 day lay off then you can bump another driver from another center, if you have more seniority.
