I used to think legalizing drugs actually might have been a solution, until I realized that what it really translated to was me dealing with meth heads outside of Wawa every day when I go to get my coffee, amped up trying to score another fix, willing to rob and kill me for $4. That and 40 matterers sitting on the sidewalk blowing plumes of weed smoke into little kids faces.

People arent responsible enough to keep their bad habits to themselves, especially when drugs are involved.

Because meth heads can’t get meth now? Weed is legal already in half the country and might as well be in the rest. Is there a scourge of people blowing smoke in children’s faces? Are you capable of making even reasonable arguments or do you have to stick to utter nonsense on principle?

We do have draconian drug laws.
I want to be able to cultivate mushrooms in my closet.
I want to have a grow op in my spare bedroom and manufacture hash from the trimmings.

There is an entire generation with untapped knowledge and earning potential. I wouldn’t mind paying taxes on income earned.

Even "60 Minutes" showed the danger of young adults smoking weed before their brains are fully developed. We don't want a generation of cognitively impaired young Bidens inheriting the leadership of the country.

You literally just made our "gun" argument, but using drugs instead. The other day you sarcastically said, "so we need more guns" to solve a gun problem? Now you're saying we need more meth to solve a drug epidemic because, "they can get meth anyways!" I'm convinced you just don't like living in a first world country 😆 Because the world you're fighting for is a bunch of amped up meth heads, with guns, literally everywhere lol

Understood. But I just try to keep in mind that not everyone is as responsible as you are, and having a drug epidemic even while the drugs are still largely illegal tells me that it'd be certain societal collapse if they were legal w no repercussions

Put the recipe for crack, meth out on the net. So that the meth/ crack heads can make their own batch.
Shouldn't be long before they mess up the recipe and kill themselves.

Unfortunately a meth lab explosion can take out a city block if the batch is large enough. And you can guarantee meth heads are gonna be making mountains of it if it were legal

Unfortunately for you there is plenty of evidence that decriminalizing drugs lowers drug usage. There’s also evidence that restricting gun ownership lowers gun violence. Your beliefs have proven to be incorrect. Sorry reality doesn’t conform to your faith. If you have any data to support your faith I’d love to see it.

Did legalizing pot in various states lower usage?
