Violence in America is way down compared to the 1990's and that decline occurred without denying American citizens their rights. Again an idea like this only makes sense if you believe gang members aren't American and you therefore view them as foreign invaders threatening the nation. This viewpoint is irrational and wrong.

The criminal justice system is the most expensive least effective means of dealing with those that can’t.
Liberals like you keep repeating the lie that locking up criminals doesn't reduce crime. It does.

We do catch and release with these animals. We should be locking them up for much longer and it wouldn't be a revolving door system for thugs.

Because we made laws stricter, expanded policing, and put mandatory minimums in place.

Democrats are trying to undo the advances we've made to protect law abiding citizens.

No this isn't true. First off, many stricter laws were passed by democratic mayors and governors so your last sentence about democrats is fiction. Also Crime started dropping in 1991, threes years before the 1994 crime bill, a bill which had a ton of support from democrats and was signed into law by Bill Clinton, and crime dropped all over the nation even in places that didn't implement longer sentences or get tough on crime stuff. In fact, many nations in Europe saw an increase in crime from the 1970's into the 1990's just like America, and just like America they saw huge decreases in crime, but they didn't introduce get tough on crime measures. So it is not at all clear why crime started dropping in 1991 in America.

Okay.
We have the right to privacy and are free from unreasonable search and seizure. The laws are fine as they are.
Way too many friend:censored2:king useless and unneeded laws.
Keep in mind, it's not the fault of police ... it's the fault of the politicians that legislate these laws.

I like Trump's idea for legislators and regulators ... for every law you write, you have to get rid of two.

It's because we expanded policing and locked up more criminals.

Are seriously going to suggest locking up criminals doesn't reduce crime? Cone back to reality leftie.

No, again there is no credible data that claims to show why crime dropped in the 1990's for the reasons you state. You are making stuff up. Again Europe had a decrease in crime without introducing get tough on crime stuff, many many areas in America had huge drops in crime without implementing get tough on crime stuff at the local or state level.
