I don’t pay taxes

It was posed as a question. I have no idea what he pays in taxes because he refuses to release his returns.

He won't release his taxes because he has nothing to gain from doing so. If you were in the same situation, you wouldn't either. No matter what the returns said, the media would incriminate him even if it's all legal. But think about the mass complexities of what the returns look like when you own buildings and properties and tons of assets all around the world. People wouldn't understand it and it would all be misconstrued.

Don’t blame the people/business that don’t pay. Blame all the loopholes that allow it. Don’t tell me that anyone of us wouldn’t do the same thing if we qualified.
We all qualify for using offshore bank accounts. Just depends if you want the headache of (possibly) being charged with tax evasion.

Hope this helps.

Much like Trump's taxes.....it's none of my business, or anyone else's except for the IRS, whether or not someone is paying taxes.
Exactly. Everyone needs to just forget (ignore) all of the lies, lawsuits and hush money payments, too.

I thought Democrats raise taxes? Make up your mind.

They do, but they themselves don't like to pay them. They are an interesting breed. They don't actually want to live under the garbage they propose.

Bernie Sanders hates capitalism but took all the profit from selling a book (the pure definition of capitalism).

Al Gore thinks carbon is going to end the world soon but lives on private jets.

Anti-gun legislators have armed security details.

And many raise taxes advacates have been caught evading taxes .

Could go on and on.

They love personally living the American way of life but fight to turn everything upside down. It's mind numbing.

Bernie also donates a lot.

Unless Al Gore travels by balloon, his flying will always be used as an excuse. Does not mean pollution isn't affecting us all.

What legislator do you speak of, and how many death threats from whack-job NRA supporters have they received?
Let me guess, you believe Cesar Sayoc was framed?

It's spelled advocate, and who're speaking of?

I could go on and on...

Also interesting to note- Sanders had a net worth somewhere between $271,033 and $1,153,999 in 2015. Among all senators, he ranked 77th in terms of wealth.
Disclosure statements for 2011 indicate that he donated a total of $21,810 that year – $20,960 from his book royalties and $850 for an appearance on the talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher.” His financial disclosures for 2012 show that Sanders donated $5,122 worth of book royalties to charity.
Sanders released his 2014 tax return while running for president. The return indicates that he and his wife gave a total of $8,350 to charity, or 4 percent of their income that year.

In 2015, he donated another $850 from “Bill Maher.” (Sanders also appears to have donated $3,035 in speaking fees from Avalon.) That year, his campaign rejected a $2,700 contribution from Martin Shkreli, the former Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO infamous for hiking up the price of the drug Daraprim, instead donating it to the Whitman-Walker Health clinic in Washington, D.C. “We are not keeping the money from this poster boy for drug company greed,” a Sanders campaign spokesperson said at the time.

In 2016, Sanders donated $4,050 in appearances to charity. The beneficiaries were Burlington Meals on Wheels, the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network and a Virginia food bank, according to The Burlington Free Press.

Senate ethics rules bar members from collecting fees for speeches and other appearances.

Hope this helps.

Hasn’t seemed to be to big a burden for all the former presidents since Nixon

He's worth $2.5 million and has 3 homes.

If he lived what he preaches, he would've given 90% of it away to people that don't work.
