NAFTA definitely benefited Mexico and Canada more but the really big driver of our demise was the China trade. People like to scoff at all the useless junk coming out of China but just about everything we buy is made there now. Beyond a small percentage made in other countries.
says wages fell here too. mexican wage gap is the same in 2014 relative to US wages as they were 20 years ago.

You don't seem to understand politics. People believed back then that NAFTA would work out better for everyone. If Clinton had vetoed the bill the veto would have likely been overridden. If it had it would have weakened Clinton and hurt his chances for reelection. And for getting his liberal agenda passed. As was his liberal agenda caused him to lose Congress in the midterms and thus his shift to the right to get reelected.

seems like mixed support. im sure there was plenty of propaganda telling people to support it.

al was not a capitalist and probably did not understand the term
americans have poor economic understanding if your low union membership rate is any indication

looks like al capone did the same things as modern corporations like bribing officials and tax evasion

a worker under capitalism is so bad it incentivizes people into doing crime.

no corporation holds a gun to your head as you make a purchase. you cant stretch this one into an argument and it is silly for you to even try.
