this thread is about knocking over block towers

if civilization collapses because of out of control capitalism, wouldnt that be the same thing?

theres a famous line "socialism or barbarism". if the towers are knocked down because civilization collapse, then we have barbarism.

we get equal care. its not based on how much money you make. every human is equal.

and btw your system is the most expensive in teh world but only mediocre results. so you should switch over to a country which has very good results and very good costs.

your system is based on risk is it not? so basically if you want to skateboard and you hurt yourself and youre poor, then you cant afford to skateboard anymore. canada system not like this. i broke my arm seadooing, it costs me $30 for the sling which was a partial tax write off im guessing anyways. surgery was almost next day but they said i didnt need it. physio at hospital was free, which is normally not the case for physio.

poverty kills dreams.
The best hospitals and medical care in the world is in the U.S. Yes it's expensive. But don't compare it to Canada. You'll come up short.

If you are to compare socialism to capitalism, the bugs and exploits in capitalism are features in socialism.

wrong your system only has mediocre outcomes
And you know this how? When I was in Texas the King of Saudi Arabia use to fly into the small city I lived in to have his spine worked on. Rich people from all over the world come to the U.S., especially when they can't get needed assistance until months later with their country's socialized medicine.

A certain hotel in Boston's Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA), had entire floors reserved for families of the royals from SA.

im talking about worker controlled industry type socialism

i dont believe in privatization of everything either
Wasn't something like this tried when Vietnam fell ?
Troops went into hospitals and shot all the doctors, then told the workers that they were now the medical staff and to continue on as normal.

They are producing unsustainable throw away culture products
They're also producing food, clothing, and shelter. Communication devices. Heavy equipment. The list is endless. You remind me of the Khmer Rouge who killed all the intellectuals and forced everyone onto farms. Didn't like the modern world so tried to force everyone into their agrarian vision.

Comm devices, clothing examples of throw away culture. food is plastic. meat produces too much pollution

Our system is a dictatorship too - information is the currency of democracy and most ppl cant figure it out

You lack information. One can choose to participate or not to varying extents. And don't start talking dictators when you're demanding we give up meat, clothing, etc. Who are you to tell everyone how to live?
