I Need A New Book

I used to read a lot,not so much now.
One that I still think about today is,
"a day in the life of a day in the life of Ivan Denisovich"
by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
I never did make it all the way through"Cancer Ward"
That book was too much depression for me.

I'm usually not a fan of re-reading a book, but I've read Helter Skelter a few times. Intrigued by evil, I guess.

I'll read it as soon as I find it at Goodwill. Love Grisham, hate paying full price for a book.

Try Amazon--with shipping his new one cost me about $22. I can't wait to add it to my collection:

The Cat from Hue is a outstanding read. John Laurence, the author, was a grunt and then a correspondent in Vietnam, his book ranks with Obrien's works.
