yea i am a part timer small sorter that works in california ontario.
sunday isn't overtime for me i know that.
anything over 8 hours are overtime. and anything over 40 hour per week are overtime.

i did an calculation of my own. and i get 26.24 hours of overtime.

did anybody else get it around that?

If you are part-time then anything over 5 hrs. should be overtime, even if you R not at 40 hrs for the full week!!!

Look into your local contract???

sun- 5.58
mon- 11.58
tues- 11.13
wed- 9.78
thur- 10.83
fri- 8.85

total- 57.75
average 9.78

so my question is how many hours are overtime? and how many hours are regular time?

sun- 5.58 5Hrs. hrly rate .58 @1.5 hrly rate
mon- 11.58 5Hrs. hrly rate 6.58 @1.5 hrly rate
tues- 11.13 5Hrs. hrly rate 6.13 @1.5 hrly rate
wed- 9.78 5Hrs. hrly rate 4.78 @1.5 hrly rate
thur- 10.83 5Hrs. hrly rate 5.83 @1.5 hrly rate
fri- 8.85 5Hrs. hrly rate 3.85 @1.5 hrly rate

totals are 30 hrs.@ hrly rate & 27.75 hrs.@ 1.5hrly rate ,"overtime".

I will send you a statement next yr. so don't spend the overtime because my service is pricey.

Easy way is just subtract 5 hrs. from each days work. ADD up all remaining time and that will be your total time @ overtime.

sun- 5.58 -5= .58
mon- 11.58 -5= 6.58
tues- 11.13 -5= 6.13
wed- 9.78 -5= 4.78
thur- 10.83 -5= 5.83
fri- 8.85 -5= 3.85

.58+6.58+6.13+4.78+5.83+3.85= 27.75 overtime.
