blinders? Really. The fact that we even have political parties is ridiculous, outdated, and misleading. And to think that One Person in government makes a difference is laughable. It doesn't make a difference which party is in control. Over the long time, other people run this country. People you can't put a finger on.

I didn't say that. I'm not anti-semitic. I lived in a jewish neighborhood of Philadelphia for years. It was great. Has the state of Israel been up to some shady and horrific :censored2:. Sure. So has America. China. Blah, Blah. I'm just saying the average person, and even above average person, has very little control overthrowing the ones who run everything. That's gonna take a concerted effort.

I just think and will say I know to some extent that a lot of problems are BS. People are petty. Sure, there's legit gripes. But there's a force manipulating hatred, and distrust, and angst. The rational person, free from any serious mental defect, should be aware that we are one. The people, that is. We are only as strong as our weakest link. And that goes beyond race, religion, sex, whatever. Even the lowest income level, or knowledge can be a great benefit. It might seem trivial, but anyone can contribute. Anyone can make a difference. And i'm not espousing socialism or communism, but I believe people should aspire to be the crutch, and not the jagged rock. It's as simple as holding doors open for an elderly or not being a piece of :censored2: and throwing trash out your car window.

OK, but can't we agree that Democrats are part of the Borg trying to sweep all of us into the collective hive? And by the way Guilfoyle is gorgeous!

So, Jews. Looks like we need a CE proclamation denouncing anti-semitism, this place is full of it!

I'm not chasing the anti semite argument . I think Omar should be allowed to question our middle East policy though it comes from her radical hatred for Israel.

I'm enjoying watching the Dems try to dance all around this issue to appease both sides of the argument, not to mention their accusations of anti semitism that are being levied against the party of the race card.

That's an important point. Face it. Congressional debate over US Middle East policy has for years been heavily influenced by Jewish influence and money. Perhaps the election to Congress of a very vocal young Muslim will bring greater balance to the debate and she deserves to be heard without fear of the very powerful Jewish influence and money. After all, she was elected to be heard and to represent the people of here district even if you don't like her or what she has to say.

Israeli Actions and policies should be subject to scrutiny and criticism. But it’s pretty clear from Omar’s own words that she is an anti-Semitic Muslim. The excuse making that’s done for her because she’s black/Muslim/female is amazing.

You can critique Israel without sounding anti-Semitic. Rep. Ilhan Omar should learn how.

“In the continuing saga of Omar vs. the State of Israel, she has said that Israel has "hypnotized the world," suggested that Jews and Israel have bought U.S. politicians, and implied that American Jews have divided loyalties. Some pundits have labeled these classic anti-Semitic tropes, while others say her remarks are being blown out of proportion and taken out of context.”
