I'm sorry you are too challenged to understand this complex situation......move on to nothingness or meaningless.
Let's imagine that your state levies a tax on something you purchase. You buy a widget and are forced to pay a sales tax to complete the transaction. Now who paid that tax? You the consumer or the state that levied that tax?

Rahm Emanuel Invents New ID to Ensure Illegals Get Their Welfare - Breitbart

The “Municipal ID” plan is Emanuel’s latest bid to resist the effort of the Justice Department and remain what he has called a “welcoming city.” Emanuel’s new City Clerk Anna Valencia’s website describes the Municipal ID as “an optional, valid, government-issued ID that they can then use to access a range of services from both the private and public sectors. ”

In addition to ensuring access for illegals to government programs, the Clerk’s Office also claims to be “working with cultural institutions, sports teams, pharmacies, local chambers of commerce and community organizations to explore potential discounts and partnerships.”

The scheme is specifically designed not only to allow illegals to obtain the cards, but to avoid collecting data that could be used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to discover aliens in the country illegally. Chicago is apparently looking to a model pioneered in San Francisco to frustrate ICE efforts.

“Applicants bring in the documents to prove someone’s identity. They hand them over to specially trained individual who can review the documents and then hand them back … It’s going to capture just the name and the date of birth. It’s not going to capture an address,” a source close to those officials told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Just like I have been saying for a long time .

GOP says border wall funds should come from immigrants in U.S.

A group of House Republicans on Thursday introduced the first major bill to fund President Trump’s border wall, saying the government could collect billions of dollars by imposing a 2 percent fee on all the money Mexicans and other immigrants send back home.

Estimates vary, but remittances from those in the U.S. to their relatives back home could top $130 billion a year. A 2 percent tax could net more than $2 billion a year if it applied to all money regardless of who’s sending it.

Republicans sure do love to raise taxes on the poor.

Mexico's subservient government is what hurts it's poor. They are the ones bowing to corporate interest to the detriment of there people.

Wouldn't be great if Mexico fixed there screwed up country. Then we would have a real trading partner. Likes should trade with likes. True equality and no handouts.

The "one world" types means to an end has been to take from the productive and give to the less efficient.

Governments need to only encourage self reliance = self reward policies, and police the exceptions. Like eliminating corporate welfare policies and monopoly's.

So Trump initially wanted a 90 day freeze to figure out "what was going on" with immigration from these countries. Has he figured it out yet? Does he know what needs to be "fixed" yet?

Hand over your phones, social media passwords and answer questions about your ideology: Trump officials draw up 'extreme vetting' plans which could even affect tourists from Britain and Australia
  • President Donald Trump campaigned on instituting 'extreme vetting' and signed an executive order to amp up screening of visitors
  • Although the travel ban on six Muslim-majority nations got put on hold by federal judges, the vetting changes are going forward
  • Applicants could be forced to hand over their list of contacts on their phones and other sensitive information
  • Changes could even apply to list 'visa waiver' countries, which includes close allies

Homeland officials said tougher procedures would be applied not just to prospective refugees but to visitors and other would-be immigrants.

State's Highest Court Considers Constitutionality Of Some Immigration Detainers...

'Can local law enforcement agencies detain someone at the request of federal immigration authorities, or is that in violation of the Massachusetts state constitution?

That was the question before the state's highest court on Monday in the case of Commonwealth v. Lunn — a Cambodian national who was detained by state court officers at the request of federal immigration officials, even though Lunn's state criminal case had been dismissed..'

"At its core, this case is about how much authority local police and local courts have when it comes to honoring what are called ICE detainers.

So, an ICE detainer is a voluntary request from the federal government to hold a person in custody whose criminal case has been settled, meaning the charges have been dismissed, they've posted bail, or their jail sentence has been completed. And so, a detainer gives ICE up to two days to look into a person's immigration status and potentially pursue deportation ... while that person remains in custody.

And this is what's at question — are local law enforcement and courts constitutionally allowed to detain someone who otherwise is free to go — based solely on this request from ICE."
