I work preload starting at 6.am and make more than that before I leave the building.Just got an offer on my Indeed because I used to work at FedEx, available positions 10x, this is in a major metro area. Fast Freddy needs a contractor solution.

By noon.
That’s not a lot of money. Poverty wages if it’s an eight hour day. Maybe it’s in a depressed area and part time. Need more infoNo wonder they can't get any help
A good driver can probably finish in 6-7 hrs, $20/hr seems fine. They’ll get people to apply.Just got an offer on my Indeed because I used to work at FedEx, available positions 10x, this is in a major metro area. Fast Freddy needs a contractor solution.

Depends on the area, every market is differentWhen Express was still putting out ads in my area last year, starting pay was $18.xx. At 8 hours that’s about $150/day, so pretty much the same. Of course now the Express guys will say “but we get benefits”, yet then in another thread complain complain about how crappy those same benefits are.
Express was able to lower its payscale BECAUSE of Ground, and the dimwits there who accepted that payrate. When Express was still putting out ads in my area last year, starting pay was $18.xx. Do you realize that 30 percent of the economy (perhaps more) is comprised of low-income jobs?Express was able to lower its payscale BECAUSE of Ground, and the dimwits there who accepted that payrate.
20 dollars an hour for delivery is horrible unless you’re a youth living at home. It’s minimum wage most places.A good driver can probably finish in 6-7 hrs, $20/hr seems fine. They’ll get people to apply.
If you say so, that doesn’t change the fact that they’ll get applicants. It’ll be a step up for someone or they wouldn’t take the job.20 dollars an hour for delivery is horrible unless you’re a youth living at home. It’s minimum wage most places.
