agreed. I'll take it one step further. I want the top military brass to be combat leader tested also. Jack Keene was my Brigade leader when I was in the 10th Mountain Div. He was as a good of leader as I could've hoped for

No, the invasion happened under Biden. This was thrown in Trump's lap. You're trying to salvage something out of defeat but the truth is the world was in good shape, minus the pandemic, during Trump's first term but the idiots running the country for Biden behind the scenes left the world in a mess. All the lying in the world won't change that fact. Your party, along with a complicit liberal media, ran cover for a man with serious cognitive issues. Now you're reduced to squawking every day that Trump hasn't fixed your mess yet. But I hope you keep it up so that voters are reminded of why they voted Republican going into the midterms. Because only diehard Democrats buy into your spiel that all was well under Biden.

Seems I remember weird meetings between Trump and The Ukraine prez during Trumps first term. All I can remember it was strange and unique.
Trump asked Zelensky to look into the Hunter Biden/Burisma situation. The Democrats used that against Trump, saying he wanted a quid pro quo, information in exchange for U.S. aid. They impeached him for it but it went nowhere in the Senate. Joe Biden is on video as vice-president saying he told the previous Ukrainian president to fire a top government prosecutor who was investigating corruption by Burisma, a major Ukrainian oil and gas firm. Hunter was on their board, he called pop, Biden flew in and threatened to withhold a billion in aid if the prosecutor wasn't fired. So Joe actually did what the Democrats claimed Trump had done. Difference was there was proof that Joe did it.

Trump was breaking his oath by withholding Congressionally approved funding to Ukraine in exchange for help with his personal political problem.
