So we’ve decided that we really showed Putin a. lesson by making sure he gets exactly what he wanted, but we forced him to lose more people (and consequently Ukrainian people as well)? This is the logic of truly sick people. Lives have no meaning to these kind of people.

There’s really no guarantees at this point Russia just doesn’t take all of Ukraine.
They won’t if we keep aiding Ukraine and by doing so send a dual message to China that we don’t :censored2: around about helping people we promised to help like the promise we made to Ukraine in the 1990s when they gave up their nuclear arsenal.

Hotel in Gaza? You think Trump is backing Israel because he wants a Trump Tower in Gaza? What liberal rag did you read this general info in?
Why are you stuck in lib land? Crazy. That is general info. Wake up seriously. If you have a ā€œguyā€ don’t go šŸ’Æ for them because they are not šŸ’Æ for you. Lord…
ā€œPresident Trump has shared an AI-generated video depicting his resort-like vision for the future of Gaza — featuring a gigantic golden statue of the president as well as images of him lounging topless poolside with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.ā€

Since when do you care about ā€œlivesā€? When does anyone on the right care about Palestinian lives when it comes to getting what we want out of our foreign policy.

Lol, do you think I’m on the right? OK we establish long ago you don’t care about human life. Don’t care about immigrants as long as they do the things you don’t want so you can have them stay beneath you. And if anyone disagrees with you hope they die.

Please look in the mirror and take account of yourself first, you got a lot of issues.

Oh, and maybe search around and see what I think about how Israel is handling their affairs currently. But as usual, you rarely have any idea what you’re talking about.

And as usual, you twist what that agreement said. We actually strong. armed them and they fell for it.. We gave no assurances. They aren’t even smart enough to be their own country clearly and we never promised to do anything for them.

Yes. Yes we did. Along with the United Kingdom.

It’s called the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances.

This is why arguing with MAGA is hopeless. You don’t want to learn and aren’t curious, you just have your point of view. Carry on.

Read it again, genius. It’s fun when you lose an argument and then call someone a name that they’re not even.

ā€œThe 1994 Budapest Memorandum is often misrepresented as a binding military agreement that obligates the U.S. to defend Ukraine. That is simply not true. The memorandum, signed by Ukraine, the U.S., the U.K., and Russia, was a diplomatic assurance in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons. The agreement reaffirmed that all signatories would respect Ukraine's sovereignty, refrain from using force or economic coercion against it, and seek United Nations Security Council action if Ukraine was threatened with nuclear weapons. However, nowhere in the memorandum does it state that the U.S. or U.K. are required to provide military aid or intervene in a conflict.

Unlike NATO's Article 5, which explicitly requires mutual defense, the Budapest Memorandum contains no military commitments and has no enforcement mechanism.ā€

Interesting that you would ascribe this to only those who you identify as MAGA.

Sounds more like basically everyone here, to me.
When he spiraling and losing an argument, this is what he turns to. he doesn’t really even know what he’s talking about. It’s just makes him feel like he’s important and intellectual.. reality he’s just showing ignorance.

The problem is MILLIONS of other people hooked on Facebook and Fox News and right-wing radio believe exactly that: that we didn’t give any security assurances to Ukraine in exchange for their transfer of nuclear stockpile. And if they don’t yet believe that yet it’s because the liars on Fox haven’t told them that.

Because we didn’t. It was a terrible agreement and showed was just how pathetic Ukrainian leadership was at that time. And they’ve continued to be pathetic and one of the most corrupt in the world.

I didn’t say they were binding. I argued that they were ASSURANCES, which they are, and which you claimed were NOT ASSURANCES.

He doesn't like what's happening, and he's angry.

Which I get. But pretending that Donald Trump supporters have a monopoly on being unwilling to listen is very amusing.

What kind of assurances are those if they’re not binding and we’re not required to do anything? Your logic is not very logical. Ukraine took a crummy deal because Ukraine was not in a position to take any other deal because they have nothing to offer.
