Indiana-Is a great place to be a bigot....

ImWaitingForTheDay

Annoy a conservative....Think for yourself
No YOU Constitution bashing, emotionally driven, no clue having fascists in disguise, religious intolerant commies started it just like you start everything else. Now go make out with your boyfriend.
The irony of this entire discussion is the fact that they are inadvertently doing more to progress LGBT rights than anyone else at the moment. America has an ugly history of bigotry in this country, and when Americans see bigotry nowadays, we fight back. We KNOW bigotry when we see it, and no matter how these anti-LGBT crusaders dance around the topic, blaming the media and "the left", they just make themselves look worse and worse....

Fighting bigotry with religious intolerance is not the answer. In fact, its quite hypocritical.

You people are ignoring the Constitution, and I'm not the one who needs a Midol right now. Everything is hunky-dory until everyone else gets the same rights that you already enjoy. Then the Right gets ANGRY!! Ooooohh! It's like Caspar The Friendly Ghost kind of scary when you get bitchy and OTR.

This isn't a zero-sum game...

Religious intolerance is one thing, but dressing up discrimination in the guise of 'religious freedom' is quite another.

Are Christians really feeling so discriminated against?

The LGBT community (yes, there is such a thing) doesn't want more rights, they want the same rights as everyone else.

No. If your religion steps on basic human rights, it's quite hypocritical. Sorry that you can't figure it out.

Just because you opt to support a lifestyle choice over a Constitutionally protected religious practice doesn't mean that lifestyle choice trumps said Constitutional protection any more than it trumps a basic right. That is why gays should just walk away and find a business that won't have to give up their CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED right to practice their religion.
He needs to listen to Michael Savage and calm down. It relaxes him.

How does listening to Michael Savage calm anyone down? That makes no sense.

Concerning the highlighted portion.....you couldn't be a bigger hypocrite if you tried. If your stance is logical then a doctor who's religion dictates that he/she can't perform an abortion would have to perform an abortion everytime you hypocrites cry foul.

They gays couples aren't losing a right. There are other businesses they could go to. Both sides, in a way, are right but the businesses can't walk away and the gays can. By not walking away they are forcing the businesses to do something they shouldn't have to. And that is the problem.

If you, as a business owner believe you have the right to discriminate, then you should not be a business owner. What's next? Bring back segregation and Jim Crow laws?

It's not discrimination. It's religious freedom. Why should they be forced when the gays can just find another business? I can tell you why. Selfish disregard for the rights of others. And your boys with Ds next to their names were responsible for Jim Crow laws.

It's discrimination. Plain and simple.
Wether you are refusing service for someone who is a different race, gender, or sexual preference. It's DISCRIMINATION!

Sooo, black people, if they don't want to sit on the back of the bus, they can walk, right?

So you're cool with 'separate' bathrooms? (you can always walk away and find another bathroom...)

Yes, 'they gays couples' (sic) are absolutely losing a right.

They're losing the right to be treated like a citizen.

It's irrelevant if 'gays' could go to another establishment.

If you enter the commercial world, you abide by the rules of the commercial world.

As a shop owner, I couldn't discriminate against a Muslim, or a Christian, or a Buddhist.

I couldn't discriminate against a person of color.

I couldn't discriminate against a handicapped person.

These protections are guaranteed under the law.

Unfortunately, we don't have a country-wide ban against discrimination of the LGBT community.

(Don't worry though, we will, soon enough...)

I am heterosexual. You are heterosexual (I think). But Marge prefers vaginas and Bob prefers penises. What do our sexual choices have to do with equal rights for Marge and Bob under the law? Nothing. Under the Constitution, everyone has equal rights, and everyone also gets to worship however they choose.

You can praise Allah all day long, but if Bob comes into your store and wants to buy a radial, steel-belted condom...he can. You cannot refuse to sell Bob his condom unless you refuse to sell to everyone. So if Marge comes into your flower shop and wants an arrangement for her lesbian marriage, you must sell to her or exclude everyone. You Righties want to have your cake and eat it too...uh, no.

And you're still free to praise Allah 50 times per day if you choose. Maybe you and Baba can do it together (pray).

Man of Great Wisdom
Honestly , who serves pizza at a wedding ?
I've been to several weddings that bring out pizza at about 11pm for the people that are still drinking and dancing. The old people left after the first meal to watch the news. Granted these are commoner weddings, not that 100 a plate waste.
