you can get away with that when the economy is bad . They cant lay you off when over staffed ,so they are happy that you dont show up .

They aren't going to pay you thousands of dollars in healthcare benefits to work only here and there.

you would think that would be the logical thought right? i see this all the time actually. lower level part time and even full time sups couldn't care less how much ups is paying for someones health care. on the twi or preload, its all about there production number man and it always has been. let this kid stay home and put a part time sup to work instead and call it sick day coverage and a steward who is either weak or has a full plate of much hotter topics will let this slide.
