If Trump gets the sense on Twitter that people think he's weak, we'll be amassing troops on the border of Iran inside a week. We don't want another unwinnable foreign war that lasts until our children's children are social security eligible.

Ok since he's lost interest by now, if he was reading this, because his attention span is 280 characters, I can stop blowing smoke - The Orange Blunder is a buffoon and we should consider ourselves lucky that he forgot about why he was even mad at Iran in the first place, and reversed his initial orders to attack at the last possible minute before our military launched their strike - it's one of those rarest of occurrences...when his lack of mental acuity actually benefited us, likely saving American lives and preventing the potential quagmire of getting sucked into a ground war with Iran when they shot down several of our bombers after an ill-advised and poorly thought out raid.
Everytime I read what you post you seem to raise the bar on the ignorance on parade.

Yep. So instead of an Iraq like scenario where invasion takes place and Baathe Forces are routed, then insurgency grows on both sides w/ Sunni fighters & Shia militias...You get invasion against a standing modern, uniformed army. Supported by an international axis coalition so to speak. And you still have to deal with the coming insurgency. The proxy coup/civil war failed miserably in Syria. But the hubris to go after Iran so soon. Truly astonishing.

this point continues to get overstated continuously. There is a no war coming and Iran has no modern army.
Iran is the largest terrorist exporter in the middle east.
Trump and many others have said that by Obama making a deal with Iran they ignored the terrorist activities by Iran.
they then funded that terrorist activity by sending them the billions they sent them.
Trump is forcing Iran to account for those acts of terrorism through the severe sanctions imposed.
Iran is squirming and trying to change the subject.
Iran is trying to put pressure on the other members of the failed nuclear pact to change the subject.
any effort by Iran to act militarily in that region will result in measured responses to those acts.
Iran does not have the navy nor air force to stand up to the US.
any effort to start a naval or air war would result in the us completely destroying their air and naval assets.
there will be no ground war in iran so whatever crazies they have there are totally irrelevant.
unless they plan to swim out to our ships , not a good plan
however trump haters will try to spin anything going on there as some plan to invade iran . that will not happen.
The sanction squeeze is working and the iranians are telling us through their actions that it is working.

Agree to disagree. Drop Iran and put Saudi Arabia in this sentence. On another note, it was General Odierno himself who said: "Iraq is a sober reminder that technological advantages and standoff weapons alone cannot render a decision."
Western media also fails to mention it was Quds Iranian Special Forces who worked at least side by side the Americans not 5 years ago in the battles of Tikrit, Baji, & Mosul.
