In their defense on this issue, I wouldn’t sign it either. That treaty is just a crafted way for the countries that already have nuclear weapons to make sure other countries don’t get them and they have all the power. International law is a joke. A country’s sovereignty is the only thing they have. There’s no one coming to save you.
It’s about as silly as telling citizens to get rid of their guns because someone else will take care of them. Good luck with that.

What you think, and what actually happens are two different things though. And you know that. Country's will not live up to international law that’s why international law is worthless. There is no penalty.

the so called negotiations with iran would've meant losing its sovereignty so thats why it wasnt going to agree to it. plus they know what happened to libya when they gave up their nukes. im not sure iran had any and regardless that doesnt give a country a right to attack it.

well ukraine is a little different because they tried to join nato but it was illegal under international law for russia to invade. i agree if they had nukes they would not have been invaded.
