Job transfer/pay raise question

I bid on a new route last week and (if I get it) it will come with a pay raise. My question is, should the pay raise in October be based on my new rate of pay if I accept the offer this month and start the new route prior to the date the raises go into effect?

Is it a job with a higher pay grade than you have now? If so, the increase would be immediate.

They go percent of range. For example, if you are at 50% of range at this payscale, you'll be at 50% of the payscale in your new location. The October raise will apply to whatever you are making when the October raise occurs. You aren't getting a raise because of the transfer, just an adjustment to what your percent of range is.
