Keeping building seniority with transfer.

I heard you keep you can keep company seniority when transferring but will lose building seniority. I recently heard about someone who transferred into a different region and had to fight to keep building seniority. He won, allegedly. Does anyone have any insight on this? now southern, he transferred from a different region. From what I gathered from it even if you or your spouse are in the military you dont get building seniority.

This really depends on where you are. Here we can transfer within the local and dovetail into the list.
