If the Vikings are willing to pay him that then yes he is worth it. I think he is good but not an elite QB.

The Vikings have tons of money to spend-----after all the tax payers pretty much paid for their new stadium.

He is not an elite quarterback by any means, but he is better then case Keenum by far. Cousins had no receivers at Washington while case had diggs, theilen, and Kyle Rudolph to use last season. Cousins the Last 3 seasons had 4000 yards and didn't play spectacular, but got the job done when needed. Yes we lost to philly and didn't show up but that lands on both sides of the ball not just defense. He will keep us in the playoffs but will he get us to the superbowl? Probably not but it's worth a shot and who else is out there to pick from.
