You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
What do you eat in the morning before work, that makes it your biggest meal? I’d love to eat breakfast before work but I can’t stomach eating anything so early.
What time do you get up?

I mean we don't start til 9 am. It's kind of crazy not to eat anything before then. Plus breakfast kick starts your metabolism for the day.

Look into intermittent fasting. I've had success on ketogenic, but it leaves me feeling drained, and all the meal prep and increased grocery costs, just too much of a pain. I can go long periods without eating just fine, it takes no effort and ends up costing less. Might not be for everyone, but fasting has it's health benefits.
Exactly. Keto suppresses your appetite because you're a fat burner, not a sugar burner. I too do IF. I usually eat 1-2 meals in a 4-5 hour window in the evening. I rarely have breakfast or lunch. Once you train yourself you just don't get hungry.

That's a myth.
Exactly. Studies show those who eat breakfast actually tend to consume more. Your basal metabolic rate has is unaffected by whether you eat breakfast or not. There is the thermogenic effect of food, however the small amount of additional energy expenditure from digesting the food doesn't make up for the additional intake.

Those same studies show that breakfast eaters burn more daily calories and are less likely to be overweight.

Believe what you want, but your response makes me think about how it's funny that many of the methods and health tips at UPS are based on disproven "scientific facts". There's still a poster up that warns us to eat low fat diets to avoid heart disease.
So you responding it's a myth with no proof or links of studies is ok but not me.

Gotcha

I never said what I think you are saying I said.
Did you know that vaccines cause autism? Read it online once. Don't vaccinate your daughter
Arguing with the wife over the flu vaccine right now. Ugh

I'm all for vaccines that work for actual deadly diseases. The flu nope. There's no proof it works so I don't see the point in sticking my daughter with another needle for it.

That's a myth.

I was recently diagnosed with high blood sugar (type 2 diabetes). I was told by both my doctor and a nurse/instructor to eat at least something (low carb) in the morning to get my metabolism going in conjunction with my meds.

Different strokes.......

Eating breakfast has been proven to help regulate blood sugar levels throughout the day
